A popular example of a Power Protection system is UPS. See below, for an explanation of how it works, and how it can help you.

Uninterruptable Power Supply, or UPS, is a device which maintains a continuous electrical power supply to connected equipment via a seperate source when utility power is not available. It is often referred to as an Emergency Power Supply.

A UPS system is absolutely ideal commercially, for systems where power is essential to the running of the company, (eg, companies running multiple computer systems, hospitals, banks, etcetera.) especially where power backup may be needed in the case of a power outage.

Why do I need Power Protection?

For a business running an office or computer aided manufaction, power protection is prudent to protect your information and equipment.
If there is a power outage or spike in electricity, you could lose information or damage equipment costing you downtime and loss of income.

Maintenance:

A UPS requires at least, annual maintenance to ensure that if a power outage occurs, the UPS will operate to protect your information and equipment. The Connection Company run maintenance checks for UPS equipment.
